2 Iconic SUVs – Hyundai Venue and Tata Sierra Set for Big Debut in November 2025
SUV lovers in India are in for a treat this November. There are two major launches which are lined up this November i.e. Hyundai’s all-new generation of Venue and Tata’s much-awaited legendary Sierra. Both the models are ready to hit the spotlight this November, and each one of them brings their own flavor to the Indian SUV space.
Hyundai will officially be going to unveil the new generation of Venue on November 4, while Tata Motors has fixed November 25 for their grand comeback of the Legendary SUV Sierra, a nameplate that always holds a special place in Indian automotive history.
Tata Sierra: Icon Reborn with Modern Power and Design

Tata Motors, as always, made an interesting move. The company was earlier planning to start with the all new electric version of the Sierra, but their plan has been changed. Instead, the petrol and diesel versions will arrive before electric version and the electric model will be launched a little later.
The Tata Sierra EV will be offered in two battery pack options with an overall driving range of over 500 kms in a single charge, and it could be sharing its several components with the existing its sibling Harrier EV.
The regular model of Tata Sierra (ICE versions) is expected to be offered with three powertrain options – a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a turbocharged TGDi petrol engine, and a diesel engine option (Might be the same as of Fiat Sourced 2.0 litre Kryotec Diesel Engine). The new turbocharged TGDi engine might be delivering around 168 PS of Power and 280 Nm of Torque, and could later will bw provided with their Harrier and Safari. Both six-speed manual and six-speed automatic Torque Converter gearboxes are likely to be offered with Tata Sierra.
Sierra’s Expected Price, Rivals, and Features

We are expecting the price of new Tata Sierra somewhere in between ₹11 lakh to ₹20 lakh (ex-showroom) which will be putting the SUV in the same league of its competitors as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
In designing terms, Tata always do a clever job. This time with their Sierra will be a combination of nostalgia with modern styling. The SUV had retained its signature curved rear glass, chunky big wheel arches, and upright macho profile – a nod to the OG Tata Sierra. At the same time, Sierra also embraces many modern touches like split LED headlamps, connected LED light bars at rear, and big and bold 19-inch alloy wheels, giving Sierra a strong road presence.
The new Tata Sierra feels futuristic and premium from its interior. The key highlight is its triple-screen setup – separate displays for the driver for MID, infotainment system, and front passenger screen. The dashboard uses a dual-tone finish which is paired with a four-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo.
We are expecting a long list of comfort features such as:
-
Harman Kardon sound system
-
A big Panoramic sunroof
-
Fast Wireless charging
-
Multi colored Ambient lighting
-
Powered driver’s seat
-
Connected tech with advanced vehicle functions
Tata’s focus seems clear to bring back the Legendary Indian Icon, but with a 2025 worthful makeover.
